The general con census of critics and some moviegoers was that this movie could have been so much more, I agree in parts , but Apocalypto had already been made and you can't top that.. This movie took a story that's been done before in various movies and used some decent computer -g enerated effects and made it in English to try and get the audience who missed a film like Apocalypto to sit down and watch a film of this time period.

“Good morning, Babe!”
Those three wonderful words were the first I heard this morning.
Tomorrow, Pauline and I will celebrate our fifty-eighth wedding anniversary and this adventurous woman I married when we were in our teens has been an expert at keeping our love alive.
On our forty-fourth anniversary, Pauline wanted to go Para-sailing, which you probably know, takes you up about 400 feet above a boat while you’re towed around a lake at a high speed, providing a view and sensation tha ...

The family is the bedrock of society. A nation is only as stable as the families that make it up. When the family is out of order, then the community will be out of order: then local government; state government; federal government- will all be out of order. Dysfunctional families will eventually lead to a dysfunctional country.

Musical humorist Allan Sherman, gag writer for several of America’s top comedians, died too young at age 48 and was beyond clever. For a couple of decades, his name was associated with many things funny.
He’s been gone for 35 years, but many of his musical spoofs remain lodged in memories of folks who’ve lived long enough to remember three-cent stamps, rotary phones and single-edge razor blades.

AUSTIN – With gas prices topping $4.00 per gallon, more and more Texans are trading their gas-guzzling SUVs and pickup trucks for more fuel-efficient motorcycles to save at the pump. The Dog Days of summer are here but there are things we must do if you are a gardener.
My tomatoes and peppers have been slow producing this year. The nights are too hot to set the fruit and it is difficult to fight the dry weather and insects. Most of my plants are in good shape so I’ll leave them and expect a good fall crop.
Hand water trees and shrubs that were planted this spring.
