After hearing a lot about the book series, the DVD Twilight gets a crack at the Vampire/Romance fans. We, not unlike a lot of people, have not read the books but were a little intrigued by the story. I once heard of a cartoon that showed a court room scene in which the judge says to the defendant, “Listen, it’s guilty or not guilty, you can’t plead - I gotta be me.” Paul’s words in I Corinthians 6:9-11 force the issue. The words are not weak, indecisive or unclear.

As Easter comes around, we see signs of new life all around us. We’ve had a very dry year and this little bit of rain has caused fields to green up and even bluebonnets are blooming. The hummers are back, and we have baby chicks hatching all over the barn.

Do you think we’ll have another freeze? This has been the favorite question this week. Easter is still 3 weeks away; anything can happen. If you want to plant tomatoes, be prepared to cover them. Tomatoes don’t begin to grow until the ground temperature is at least 65 degrees. You can begin to seed cantaloupe, southern peas, beans, squash, sweet potato slips, cucumbers and pumpkin. This is a good time to install soaker hose or drip irrigation in your garden.
