There is perhaps one moment in almost everyone’s life when they come across a baby raccoon, squirrel, or even deer fawn, which seems to be helpless and alone. We tend to think that the only way these cute little animals will survive is with our tender loving care. Other times, our culture considers it trendy to own a wild animal as a pet.

George Washington, unlike Adams, Jefferson, Franklin, and Hamilton, was not a learned man. He was not an intellectual. Nor was he a powerful speaker like Patrick Henry. What he was, above all, was a leader—he was a man people would follow. He was not chosen by his fellow members of the Continental Congress to be commander-in-chief because he was a great military leader.

I know we were working our way through the footstool of Judaism in the past three articles, but my experiences around Texas at the beginning of June were too good to not share right now.
My best friend Elaine came to visit at the beginning of June. Her visit lasted just over a week and included her father; he traveled with her and participated in our adventures around Texas.

As the Co-Chair of the event, I could not have done it without the support of the board, our committee chairs, and the volunteers; including our mayor, Tina Gourley, who worked the whole time.

What a tremendous weekend for Blanco. The festival was great. One of the exciting things, for me, was to look toward Bindsiel Park and see the park full of people eating, sitting, walking and listening to the music being played by various bands in the theatre area. It was worth the many hours of work by the volunteers to make the park what it was this weekend.

You'd be surprised how many people sign real estate documents without ever reading them. Then again, maybe you wouldn't. Perhaps you've even put your signature at the bottom of a contract or form that you merely skimmed over. I strongly advise against this.
What's written counts
From beginning to end, a real estate transaction will present you with more forms, disclosures, contracts and applications than just about any other activity you'll ever undertake.
