Romans 5:17 and 20 says, “For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.” Some verses that further talk about abundant grace are Rom 5:15, 2Cor 4:15, and 1Tim 1:14.

With a heavy heart, did I go to my Lord,
to ask Him why we suffer so,
Why is it so hard to let go of those
who leave us to go where we don’t know?
Why do we cry when we think we know
that person we love will soon be with Him,
I wondered, I prayed, I thought real hard,
and then quickened within was the answer to why,
He said “Have you done all that you can?

Each religion has its sacred books; for Jews, the Torah is the sacred books of Judaism. I thought I’d write a few articles about the holy texts of the Jewish people for those who want to become better acquainted with Judaism.

By John Kinslow, Minister, Blanco Church of Christ
Every person faces temptation. Even our Lord was “tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin” (Hebrews 4:15). When we choose to follow the example set by our Lord and apply some key Biblical principals we have the ability to be successful in facing our temptations.
One of the keys that will be effective is humbleness of heart.

A Wisconsin minister who had resigned as pastor of a church he had served for eleven years shared his sad story with me. Dear Editor,
Technology has given us a new tool that promises to change the national political picture. The threat is to the two political parties, and the change may be the only constructive innovation made by Obama.
In the 2008 Presidential Election, Obama used the internet to his great advantage in political contributions.

Dear Editor,
Since moving back to Blanco in ’95, it’s been a rare occasion that we’ve missed a football game. The support this town has for our team is tremendous, and it’s also the ‘norm’ for us fans to discuss past success’s and compare the current year team to those of previous years.
It is amazing what people do and do not remember about the 2000 team.

If you would like to create a play room for your children, or remodel an existing one, then you are in luck. Remodeling the play room doesn’t take a lot of work and the end result will be spectacular.
The best place for a play room is the basement. The basement allows for children to be in an area where they won’t bother anyone else in the home if they begin getting noisy and disruptive.
