It was the finest management training I ever completed. All the principles taught were taught in a useful, meaningful context. Oh, I had attended multiple management conferences taught by PhDs who had come from afar carrying briefcases. Each came from a top-notch university or from some big-name corporation. But this beat them all.

In a recent visit in Blanco, local residents identified where his homestead resided.

By John Kinslow, Minister, Blanco Church of Christ
Someone said, "It's easier to get folks to agree to do better tomorrow than to get them to do their best today." Samuel Johnson, a literary giant of England in the 1700s, had the words, "The Night Cometh" engraved on the face of his pocket watch. No doubt, through the years as he looked as his watch countless times, he would be reminded that time itself would eventually come to an end.

Galatians 3 (American Standard Version)
1 O foolish Galatians, who did bewitch you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was openly set forth crucified?
2 This only would I learn from you.

Luke 12:48 says that to whom much is given, much shall be required. He who has great opportunity has great responsibility. As Christian American citizens, we have been given much. Therefore, much is required of us. We have great opportunities; Therefore, we have great responsibilities. One of these responsibilities is to vote for candidates that best represent Biblical views of righteousness and morality.

Regarding The Election
Dear editor,
I vote, and so should you. I consider it both a privilege and a duty, being a part of this great nation. I have been voting for over 50 years in each of the states I have resided in, and when I started you had to be at least age 21, missing only one election due to sudden illness and hospitalization.

Comfort received the opening kickoff and was able to drive the ball as far as Blanco’s 30 yard line but their drive came to an end when Dustin Parmely hunted down the quar ...
