The cross-examination debate team of Annie Albrecht and Eleanor Kirkscey took first place as the Blanco High School Debate team captured the sweepstakes championship at the Lampasas Speech and Debate Tournament held on Saturday, October 23.

Meaghen Seales, Blanco High School freshman, has qualified for the Region I Cross Country Meet in Lubbock on Saturday, November 6. Meaghen placed 9th at the District 8-AA meet held Wednesday, October 26, running the two-mile course in a time of 14:19:60.
