Gardening here is not for the faint of heart. We have already had triple digit weather from May forward plus those insidious high winds. Seeing as tomatoes and other veggies do not like weather above 90 degrees, couple that without rain and it sure makes gardening a challenge.

Think of the cares that would be cancelled if we could escape anxiety about our tomorrows. Most find little difficulty feeling safe for one day, but facing tomorrows can be tough.
Tomorrow the house payment is due. Tomorrow is the final day of grace on the insurance premium. Tomorrow is the day of your appointment with the doctor.

A small child looked up at her gray haired and aged granddad and asked him if he was in the ark with Noah. Granddad laughed and said, "No hun, I wasn't with Noah in the ark." The child looked puzzled and after a long pause said, "then how come you didn't drown?"

Psalm 100 says, “A Psalm of praise. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Some may be harboring a grudge against someone (unforgiveness), and/or still suffering the pain from being hurt; or may be miserable, with feelings of discontentment, worry, anger, anxiety, fear, guilt, depression, regret, remorse, condemnation, restlessness, sleepless nights and uncontrollable thoughts about the past.
I’d like to share some Scriptures of God’s Word with you.

Dear Editor,
There is a continued wonderment as to why there are signs coming in to Blanco that call for a certain speed limit. No one seems to pay any attention to them, be they coming from the north or south.
I pulled out of the Super S parking lot a few days ago and a fancy car shot past me, I guessed at 65 mph, crossing the 35 mph sign and the south bridge, then slammed on the brakes and whipped in to El Charro’s.

If your property has been sitting on the market for a while, don’t blame buyers. Re-evaluate your strategy. Take a look at what you’re offering and see how you can make your home more attractive and increase your chances of a sale.
