Help me embrace a little child Before it is too late, Or save an older person from The horror of that fate. Enable me to be alert, And hear the weakest shout And quickly and efficiently To put the fire out. I want to fill my calling And to give the best in me. When we were burdened by our sins and destined for eternal destruction (Matthew 7:13-14), Jesus, the Son of God, came to OUR rescue. He left the glories of heaven, put on human flesh, and came to live among men (Philippians 2:5-8; John 1:14). Dear Editor It angers me to see the American Legions bullied out by the school for a parking lot. I ask myself why, why does this bother me, the outcome does not affect my life what so ever. This whole issue just feels like big government doing whatever it wants. I believe that close to $8 million dollars was spent on this expansion and I just wonder why a parking lot could not have been included that didn’t require displacing the veterans.

After many years of service as a builder and missionary my father was retiring to the little town of his birth nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains of northern Mexico. He had been preparing for several years by swapping little pieces of land that he owned for other pieces of land that would all be contiguous with each other so that he could irrigate everything with the water from a single well.
