Proverbs 21:2-4 - “2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts. 3 To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. 4 An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.” I think we don’t realize how prideful we are.

Dear Editor, I would like to know why Blanco County is considering putting a bridge on Middle Creek Road? I have ridden down that road with my father and I do not understand the need for a bridge at the low water crossing. No school buses cross that crossing and there is more than one way out. My name is Veronica Segura I am 15 years old I am a sophomore at Blanco High School and I live on Chimney Valley Road.

Don’t look now, but… The tendency, when hearing this phrase is, of course, to look. It’s the power of suggestion. From yawning when someone yawns to smiling when someone laughs, it’s an amazing thing; “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…” (Proverbs 23:7) Our tendency to follow suggested pathways is an interesting phenomenon in human behavior.

I have observed some of the FIFA World Cup soccer games with interest. They reminded me of a story I read some years ago about a little soccer player: I was watching some little kids play soccer. These kids were only five or six years old, but they were playing a real game; a serious game—two teams, complete with coaches, uniforms, and parents.

We always talk about creating the Man Cave, but what about a Woman Cave? Normally we see many rooms in a home that are designated for the Woman and the Man gets the room in the garage, etc. I know in our home, we developed a Shared Cave, of course with designated areas. If developing a room inside the home, there are so many things to consider.
