A Memorial Life Celebration for Dixie Lee Hallenberger (October 2, 1948-December 15, 2010) will be held at Gem of the Hills on Saturday, March 19, 2011, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM.

We commiserate with Nell Krueger in the loss of Prince Pooh, her faithful companion for 16-3/4 years. Some people feel an animal is just an animal, pet or not - I, however, think they become an integral part of the family, especially if they are a house pet, so I sympathize (and empathize) with Nell as well.

On a happier note, there are small signs around town that spring is not too far away! Bask in the warm (as chilly may not be far behind)!
