Someone asked, "What happens when the fog lifts in southern California?" - UCLA! Each change in the weather certainly brings its challenges and lessons.

Spring is upon us and brings thoughts of renewal and re-growth. You certainly don't have to look far to see evidence of the changes taking place around us. Sometimes we speak of the autumn of life by which we mean that the coldness and lifelessness of winter is approaching. It is in those long dark days that one yearns to feel the warmth of the sun and the birth of new life.

The power of God in creation is witnessed in the change of the season. He has set in motion that which brings life from death. As He has accomplished in the natural world so He has and will manifest in the spiritual realm. Through Christ all things have been created (Colossians 1:16). Despite the problems you encounter and the mistakes of the past, a change in the seasons of your life are possible through Christ. Remember as the seed in the ground produces anew so the the seed of the good word of God (Luke 8:11) can make all things new. Jesus died on the cross for us (Romans 5:8). For all those who would have it so the demands of sin have been met through His sacrificial death. Jesus was raised from the dead on the third day (I Corinthians 15:4) conquering death and the grave forevermore. All of this He accomplished on our behalf (II Corinthians 5:15).

We should be reminded with the change of the seasons, that through Christ He will someday change all things and make them anew. Christ awaits all who would come and learn of Him. These things can be yours through the blessed gospel of Christ.
