The biggest news this week is that I forgot the biggest news two weeks ago. Judy and Bob Dorsett celebrated their 20th anniversary by going out for a night on the town at Fort Sam Houston - it was more than just Fort Sam - it was at the Harlequin Dinner Theater, where they "Boogied Back to Texas" (not that they had really gone anywhere), had a wonderful meal and celebrated twenty bliss-filled years. Anybody who knows Bob knows it had to have been bliss-filled! Just ask Judy!

Don't forget the annual fish fry this Saturday at the fire department. I will be serving at the dessert table, along with my esteemed cohorts, Cheryl Eckenrode, Rebecca Howerton, and Medora Beckmann, so stop by and say hey - you might even catch Rebecca two-stepping to the music (she is a marvelous dancer, in case anyone didn't know that)!

The annual trash-off seemed to be a success. I saw Martha and Wayne Gosnell heading down the road with a trailerload full of trashbags. You wouldn't have thought there was that much junk in Blanco, so now that it's clean once again, let's try to keep it that way!
