An officer with the Blanco Police Department made a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Mesquite St. on March 2. During the stop, the officer discovered prescription drugs in the vehicle.

An 18-year-old white male was arrested and charged with possession of a dangerous drug. The drugs were confiscated as evidence. Another subject, a 17-year-old Hispanic male, was cited in the incident.
