Panthers First in District

On April 1, the Panther varsity team defeated Comfort 17-6 to take sole possession of first place in district.

Clint Dreyer picked up his fifth win on the mound; he went seven strong innings, striking out nine and scattering nine hits. The Panthers exploded on offense with twelve hits. Ethan Evans had the big stick of the night, going 2 for 4 with two home runs and seven RBI. Shea Mangold and Colton Childress each had two hits, and Colton knocked in four runs.

On Tuesday, March 29, Blanco also walked away with a win over Harper. The Panthers won 13-3 in six innings.

The Panthers are now 15-7 on the season and 3-0 in district play. Blanco travels to Junction this Friday and are on the road next with Ingram and Harper.
