Wednesday, April 13, 2011 • Posted April 13, 2011

“What financing is available?”  That is one of the first questions asked when considering  a new project, building campaign, property acquisition or business expansion.  On Wednesday, April 20, the  Blanco County Economic Development Corporation (BCEDC) invites you to attend a free workshop from 9 to 10:30 at the LBJ Event Center at the Johnson Settlement in Johnson City. This workshop will provide guidance to financing alternatives for various economic development activity.

This workshop will be valuable to bankers, realtors, business investors, business advisors, or businesses that are considering locating or expanding in Blanco County.

A USDA Rural Development outreach specialist will discuss the USDA Housing, Business and Industry and Community Facility rural development programs available in Blanco County.

Light refreshments, courtesy of PEC, will be available.  Reservations are not required, but are requested to Penny Thomas at or 830-833-5101.
