JV Baseball Off and Running

The Panther Junior Varsity Baseball team is off to one of its best starts in years, posting a 17 and 1 record overall while also winning its first four district games.  Blanco’s JV has also won 2 tournaments.  In the Ingram tournament, the Panthers collected 4 wins while outscoring their opponents 41 to 10.  At Blanco, the Panthers swept all 3 games of the tournament, allowing just 1 run while posting 2 shutouts and scoring 22 runs.  The Panthers will continue their season with hopes of setting numerous new team and individual records with 5 games remaining on the schedule and a possibility of a few more games being added. 

JV Panthers include:  Steven Lieck, Josh McCaslin, Kyle Sauceda, Tyler Brown, Ian Ray, Layne Lassberg, Carlin Green, Hunter Gustafson, Ryan Edwards, Tyler Hardin, Chad Marshall, Ryan Wagner, Skylar Itz, Juan Avilla, Byrun Mabry, James Leachman, Will Byler, John Garrow, Jason Wheeler, Trey Hunter and Jessie Ruiz.
