Amy Elrod, 2011 graduate of Lauterstein-Conway Massage School and owner of Lavender Loft Retreat, hosted an open house and ribbon cutting  Thursday evening, April 14, at 5:30pm at its location 1025 RR 32 in Blanco. Thirty-five members of the Chamber of Commerce welcomed the new business and celebrated the affair.  Refreshments were served as guests toured the massage studio and were treated to demonstrations of hot stone massage and chair massage. Door prizes were drawn and one lucky winner received a free 1 hour massage, while others booked appointments and received free heat treatment upgrades to their massage sessions.
