Blanco 10, Junction 0 – Grady Childress went 3 innings on the  mound, striking out 7 and giving up only 1 hit. Pete Chalico and Travis McClinton each pitched 1 inning in relief. The Panthers banged out 8 hits in 4 innings. Ethan Evans hit his 10th home run of the season. Pete Chalico doubled and scored 3 runs. Colton Childress scored 2 runs and had 1 RBI. Josh McCaslin knocked in 2 RBI.  DJ Phipps, Travis McClinton, Steven Lieck, and Clayton Green all had a hit.

Blanco 17,  Ingram 6 – Grady Childress pitched 4 innings, scattering 3 hits to improve his record to 5-2. Ethan Evans hit his 11th home run of the season. He was 3 for 4 with 7 RBI.  Kyle Garrow was 2 for 2 with a home run. Clint Dreyer was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI, and Grady Childress was 2 for 3. 

Blanco 6,  Harper 3 – Blanco improved to 6-0 in district play. Ian Ray picked up his first win in a varsity uniform, going 5 innings, while striking out 7 and scattering 6 hits. Colton Childress was 2 for 4 with a RBI and Ethan Evans had single.

Blanco is now 18-8 on the year and 6-0 in district play.

The Panthers will play the alumni Saturday.  The Junior Varsity will play the old guys at 1:00 and Varsity will play the old guys at 5:00.  There will be a home run contest between games; anyone can enter.
