Part 9 in a series
Wednesday, April 27, 2011 • Posted May 5, 2011

The annual meeting of the Blanco Historic Cemetery Association was held on April 25.  A continuation of the that meeting will take place on May 16 at 7 p.m. at the Blanco  Masonic Lodge.  Hopefully, changing the time from 6 to 7 p.m. will allow more people to attend.  It was also decided that the directors will meet at 10:30 a.m. at the Cemetery Building every first Saturday of the month and that these meetings will be open to the public.

Section B12 has 5 rows of graves.  In row 2 we found one Lindemann (“nn”) and several Lindemans with one “n”.  I asked Charlene Lindeman Singleton about it.  She said that some of the “younger” generation did not want to write the extra “n” at the end of their names.  It was fun talking to her about it.

Row 5:  Margaret Arp Head (1932-2000), Robert Lee Fulcher, Jr. (1903-1982), Angeline N. Fulcher (1909-2008), Adrain Wadsworth (1900-1989), Mildred Wadsworth (1905-1986), Velma E. Hiller (1920-1999), Evelyn Hiller (1920-1999) (funeral home marker).

Row 4:  Harvey G. Warnky (1869-1954), Addie Louise Fulcher (1910-1989), Rosa Lucille Fulcher (1915-1989), Lillian Ruth Fulcher (1912-1984), Lucy Reeve Fulcher (1875-1962), R. L. Fulcher, M.D. (1869-1941), James M. Fulcher (1908-1961), Lillie Reeve (1852-1904), John Randolph Reeve, M.D. (1847-1927).

Row 3:  Herb Wier (1891-1942), Maggie L. Wier (1893-1980), Ernest Petri (1906-1988), Clara Petri nee Bindseil (1908-2006), Clara Ann Petri (1930-1935), Shirley Jean Wier (March 21, 1935).

Row 2:  Infant son of Wayne and Cornelia Lindeman (1935), H.C. Lindeman (1841-1914), M.E. Lindeman (1844-1921), Vorie Alwin Lindemann (1903-1937), Floyd Earl Cooley (1941-2007).

Row 1:  Agatha Anderson (1906-2004), William Deans Anderson (1906-1991), Marth Adaline Copenhaver Smith (1917-2008), Irvin Lee Smith (1913-2000).
