Golf Tournament Raises Money for Project Graduation
Wednesday, April 27, 2011 • Posted May 5, 2011

On April 3, 2011, Project Graduation 2011 held its Annual Golf Tournament at Vaaler Creek Golf Club to raise money for our seniors. This year’s event was a huge success and we had a great turnout!

Steve and Cheryl Tamez did an outstanding job organizing and running the event. Sponsors included Richard and Tracy Cole at Express Care (Platinum Sponsors) and Monica McCormick at Farm Bureau Insurance (Gold Sponsor). Vaaler Creek Golf Club graciously hosted the tournament for us.  Donations from Grey Rock Golf Club, Steve Dunks from Miss Mae’s BBQ in Wimberley and the Wallie Lock Charitable Foundation were greatly appreciated as well.  Other sponsors included Blanco National Bank, Dirt Works, Kim’s Printing and Signs, Just Us Guys and a Young Lady Home Maintenance, Tara Tredaway, Centex, Security State Bank and Trust, Christian Men’s Group of Blanco, Express Care, Benson Body and Paint, Immel’s Diary Service, Inc., Blanco Veterinary Clinic, Sullivan Street Catering, Reliable Fence and Dr. Doug Becker.

We couldn’t have done it without all of our generous sponsors. And a big “Great Job” goes out to all our seniors who worked the tournament in the heat and wind to make it a big success. Go Seniors 2011!
