Wednesday, April 27, 2011 • Posted May 5, 2011

By defeating Ingram 10 to 0 on March 25, Blanco head baseball coach Bryan Wyatt became one of just a few area coaches to have won 500 baseball games in his career. Coach Wyatt’s career has spanned more than 25 years, with almost all of his years as a head coach here at Blanco.

During this time, Coach Wyatt has won numerous district championships while making the play-offs every year with the exception of two times when the Panthers were defeated in a district play-off.  Highlights during his career have included two trips to the state tournament while winning more than 30 career play-off games and coaching 35 different players named to more than 60 all-state teams.

In addition, Coach Wyatt has also coached eight different players who have been selected to play in the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association All-Star game, where he was also selected as the head coach in 2008.
