The 14U select baseball team from the Blanco County area completed three tournaments. They placed 2nd in Manor, 1st in San Marcos and 3rd in Burnet.

This talented group of players is performing very well and is heading to the Cal Ripkin Experience Tournament in Myrtle Beach, SC at the end of June. They will represent the Hill Country. Players are: McKay Adamson, Logan Dodd, Kyle Gray, Ty Royce, Logan Cantwell, Dalton Crofts, Aaron McKennis, Will Rutherford, Holdon Simpson, and Nick Merkord.

In order to raise money to attend the tournament, the team has been selling raffle tickets. Winners were announced recently. Sheriff Bill Elsbury won a signed Cal Ripkin Jersey, Kevin Haley won a signed Gaylord Perry baseball and Eddie Calzoncit was the winner of a Ron Washington baseball.

The team will be conducting another raffle soon. The prizes will be four tickets to a Texas Rangers game with overnight stay and a gas card.

The team appreciates all of the support they have received.
