Wednesday, May 4, 2011 • Posted May 5, 2011

The director of the Rain Bird Gallery, Maureen Bester, has a kid’s art exhibit that runs until May 13. The young students and their teacher, Mrs. Ibarra, invite the Blanco community to visit the exhibit and admire the various paintings of the young artists. Mrs. Ibarra and her students appreciate the Rain Bird Gallery and Blanco Library for their continuing support. The kid’s art classes are held every Tuesday at the Blanco Library. For more information, call Olga Ibarra at 830-833-1966.

Artwork at the exhibit was created by Townes Curbow, Shannon Niel, Anna Olmedo-Barraco, Kaitlyn Celidewell, Sienna Buchenbacher, Aviv Buchenbacher, Annabel Crain, Ian Crain, Jasmine Barker, Carlie Kuebel, Elizabeth Wheeler, Macy Murphree, India Ingari, and Kaylah Elliott.
