The “49ers” Hold Class Reunion
Wednesday, May 18, 2011 • Posted May 19, 2011 • Updated May 19, 2011 1:38 PM

The class of 1949 had a class reunion on the 5th of May at the Bowling Alley Cafe. Oh my! Eating lunch with a bunch of eighty-year-olds was fun.

It was our 62nd reunion. When we graduated, it was a class of 23 members. Nine members have passed away; only seven came. They were: Don Morrison, Ross Glazner, Roy Finch, Orval Love, Willie Martin Olfers, Stella West Zieglar, and Lillian Miller Weber. We also had three guests: Charlene and daughter Linda Morrison, and Mildred Love.

Other class members who couldn’t attend were: Nina Page Artzt, Sylvia Brown Bakke, Irene Smith Engleka, Helen Triesch, Louis Konze, Jr., Donald Felps, and Freddie Bonnet.

We all visited and shared tales of our grandchildren and great-grandchildren into the afternoon.
