Panthers Lose to Jim Ned in Area Playoffs

Blanco won game one with a score of 11-4 behind the arm of senior Clint Dreyer. Dreyer went the distance, striking out three and scattering five hits.

Weston Copenhaver had the big stick going 3 for 4, scoring two runs and knocking in three. Colton Childress went 2 for 3, with four RBIs. Ethan Evans went 2 for 4.

Jim Ned shut down the Panther offense 5-0.

Weston Copenhaver and Pete Chalico had the only hits for Blanco. Grady Childress took the loss, striking out eleven and scattering seven hits.

In the third game Blanco started off hot, scoring two runs in the first inning, but went cold for the next six innings, losing 5-2.

Ian Ray was the losing pitcher, striking out four and scattering nine hits. Kyle Garrow knocked in both runs with a first inning single. Colton Childress had two hits.

The Panthers finish at 22-11 on the year; it was a great year for Panther Baseball.
