Tejas Art Club Art Contest
Wednesday, June 1, 2011 • Posted June 2, 2011

The Tejas Art Club sponsored an art contest for the Blanco Middle School 8th graders in Mr. Kris Baker’s class. All the participant’s hard work and imagination showed in their art entries. Eight students had their art displayed at the Blanco Library, where the members of the Tejas Art Club judged and voted on a very diffucult decision. The entries included various types of mediums and talented artistic work. The member’s selection included the following: Jacie Handberry – first place, $50 award; Grant Garrow – second place, $35 award; Lindsay Grimes – third place, $25 award. Participation certificates were awarded to Amber Brockway, Tyler Latham, Mikey Newman, Zoe Ruiz, and Wade Wardlow.
