The biggest event to ever take place in Blanco is upon us. Blanco is sprucing up to put their best foot forward. A favorite entertainment spot will be in Bindseil Park. You can walk the grounds and visit all the vendor booths, enjoy the wine booths, Lavender Lizzies, and Go Texan booths under the big tent. Visit the food booths on Pecan street and enjoy your choice of food. Take your food and go to the park and enjoy the wonderful music being performed. Sit on the rock ledge benches, spread a blanket on the ground or enjoy the gazebo, tables with benches or enjoy the beautiful new benches which have just been added in the park. Four new benches have been donated and installed in the park by families in honor of their loved ones. They will be dedicated with plaques at a later date, but were installed before festival so they can be enjoyed by all.

Keep Blanco Beautiful has been trimming, weeding, watering, and adding more blooming plants for color in all the pots and flower beds. We have worked very hard to make the park enjoyable. This little bit of heaven in Blanco is a welcome relief of shade and beauty with music added to be enjoyed by all these three days of Lavender Festival.

Two other benches have been added on each side of Chamber of Commerce for your enjoyment. These were presented by Keep Blanco Beautiful and the Chamber of Commerce. We hope visitors and Blanco residents will enjoy sitting in these on the Square and just people watch. Also men can enjoy while their ladies are shopping around town.

We appreciate all our volunteers who have been helping Keep Blanco Beautiful. We hope to make Blanco proud.
