Wednesday, June 8, 2011 • Posted June 9, 2011

On Saturday, June 25, Blanco United Methodist will hold a Fashion Show to benefit The Good Samaritan Center located at 620 North Pecan Street. The Good Samaritan Center is the county’s local food pantry and aid center for those in need. This Center is in need of substantial repairs and remodeling.

Models will showcase outfits from “On the Square” of Blanco, “Dove Tails” of Wimberley, and “Bealls” of Fredericksburg. All ensembles will be accentuated with accessories. You may choose to purchase one of the ensembles modeled and vendors will have other outfits available for purchase.

The program will begin at noon and will include a light lunch of Chicken Salad, Cacciatore Salad, a Green Salad, bread, dessert and a beverage. The cost is $12.00 per person. Please call Blanco United Methodist at 833-5030 to make reservations.

Remember, the Good Samaritan Center is always in need of non-perishable food items and gently used clothing. You may also wish to shop their racks for designer clothing as well.
