Fredericksburg, Texas. January 7, 2008: After a successful start at Luckenbach Dance Hall, CRAVE is moving into the Family Life Center at Fredericksburg United Methodist Church. The Family Life Center is located at 1800 North Llano, Fredericksburg, Texas. CRAVE is a post-modern style service that will kick off its Spring Worship on January 13, 2008 at 5:55 pm in the Family Life Center of Fredericksburg, Texas. Using the latest in multi-media and technology, CRAVE features different styles of worship including live bands, drama, art, speakers and multi-cultural experiences than those currently offered by Fredericksburg United Methodist Church. CRAVE takes place every Sunday at 5:55 pm in the Family Life Center.

“This new location will offer us more space and facilities for other ministries such as children’s and small group ministries,” said Scooter Buck, Director of Student Ministries for FUMC. “We are having worshippers of all ages and want to be able to minister more specifically to the various age groups with better facilities and multi-media opportunities.” Buck said. “Luckenbach Dance Hall was a great place to start CRAVE and we are grateful for the people and support received there.”

The Spring CRAVE kick-off will feature the sounds of Jerry Wise, a nationally recognized artist from the Austin area. CRAVE has welcomed bands from across the state including the sounds of Clear To Go, Burgundy Road, The Brown Band, Look to the Sky and the Curt Dubose Band and several other talented musicians. Links to the bands and featured CRAVE artists are available on the CRAVE website, www.fredcrave.com. Other local bands will be playing at future CRAVE worship services.
