Blanco’s own brewery, Real Ale Brewing, celebrated its 15th year of operation on Saturday, June 25. “We had over 2,000 folks throughout the day, three bands, and lots of fun!” said Gabriel Gregerman.

The brewery is also expanding, starting with a new warehouse behind their current maintenance shop. It’ll mostly be used for storage of packing materials so they can get rid of all their shipping containers, Gregerman said. The slab for the new building was poured on Friday night, before the party.

There are further expansion plans in the works, including a new packaging hall, and an events center and tasting area. The packaging hall and new warehouse should be completed by Fall, and the event center as soon as the end of 2012.

Here’s to Real Ale, their 15 years here and their continued growth.
