The Blanco Bowling Club had the 2011 Spring roll-offs on June 21-22.

In Round One – The first place team #7; Captain Ken Olfers and Dorothy Ray, Kirk Felps and Jeana Byler, Charles Waxler and Pam Moore bowled against the fourth place team #2; Captain Jeff Swierc and Zach Swierc, Norm Gourley and Linda Anderson, Howard and Beverly Koch. The scores were: Team #7 – 255, 206 and 219, and Team #2 – 223, 207, and 149. Team #7 won that round. This was an interesting match. After the second game was completed, both teams tied at 206. To break the tie, each team bowled one frame on each of the two alley’s the games were being bowled on. The team with the most pins of those two frames broke the tie, and the winner of that was Team #2.

Also in Round One – The second place team #8; Captain Barbara Maly & Dottie Delavan, Lynn and Shelli Maly, Rick & Bee Rust bowled against the third place team #14; Captain John L. Dechert and Melody Deike, BoBo and Rhonda Delavan, Vernon Wagenfehr & Bill Ernst. The scores were; Team #8 – 185 and 123 and Team #14 – 216 & 188. Team # 14 won that round.

In Round Two, Team #7, Ken Olfers’ team Bowled against Team #14, John L. Dechert’s team. The scores were; Team #7 – 204 and 213 and Team #14 – 250 and 245. John L.’s team won round two and is the league champion. Congratulations to them and to all the teams that made the roll-offs.
