Jimmy Allen Newman, 52, passed away July 4, 2011, at his residence in Blanco. Jim was born on October 28, 1958, in Ft. Worth to J. A. Newman and Bobbie Nell Bratton. He was raised in Comanche. Jim worked for Klepac Greenhouse for 10 years as Production Manager.

Jim is survived by his father, J. A. Newman of Stephenville, his mother, Bobbie Deanda of Brownwood, his wife, Kristine, and three sons, David, Steven, and Michael, three grandchildren, and his grandmother, Geneva Bradshaw of Comanche. He is also survived by two brothers, Charles “Doodle” Kincaid and Jason Newman, and three sisters, Melinda Carr, Andrea Newman, and Rhonda Lewis.

Jim and Kristine were overwhelmed by the support and kindness shown to them by the community of Blanco. Jim loved Blanco.

Services for Jim will be on Saturday, July 9, at the First Baptist Church in Blanco at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Blanco Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, July 8, from 5-7 p.m. at Crofts Funeral Home.
