A willingness to serve neighbors when they need us, plus the American Red Cross course being taught in Johnson City on Saturday. The willingness to help is either in the heart or it's not... the need is certainly there... people displaced by fire, flood, or tornado. The class is the introduction to Red Cross disaster services, an overview of what volunteer responders do and how they do it, and how an ordinary person can help when needed. The free class begins at 9am in the Activity Building of the First United Methodist Church, and will be out in time for lunch.
