We have a success story, which was made possible by concerned citizens, along with the Blanco County Cat Coalition.
A group of tiny, sick, helpless kittens were found on Flat Creek Road living in a culvert. There was no mom to be found, no water, no food and no vet to help with their terrible eye infections. They were clearly suffering.
A caring citizen picked up all four kitties and called the Cat Coalition for guidance. The Cat Coalition educated the woman about where to call and set up appointments, so she could surrender the kitties. During this time she nurtured them back to health, and made them ready to be adopted. She fell in love with two of them and will be getting them fixed asap to help end the cycle of reproduction. Many cats and kittens are not so lucky.
The Cat Coalition has spayed/ neutered more than 278 cats so far this year in Blanco County, which are amazing figures for a small group of dedicated people. Please help us, help you, help them. You can call us at 512-318-5875. It only takes one phone call to help end the suffering and get the situation back under control. Thanks for caring and doing the right thing.
