From the Superintendent:

We at Blanco ISD are looking forward to the upcoming school year with great anticipation.

We look forward to our students returning to school, and progressing on that road of educational attainment.

Our students cover a broad range, in ages, abilities, and backgrounds. But each one is valued, and occupies an important place in our school family.

I want to wish all our students, teachers, employees, parents, and loved ones a happy and successful 2011 – 2012 school year.

“Meet the Teachers” nights have been scheduled at each of our campuses as follows:

• Elementary, Friday, August 19, 5:30 – 6:30 PM

• Middle School, Tuesday, August 30, 6:00 PM

• High School, Monday, August 29, 6:00 PM

Please feel welcome to attend.

In conclusion, we appreciate your contribution to and support of Blanco ISD.

Thank you very much.

Dr. Buck Ford
