Classic Cars Gather for Cruise Night in JC

Pecan Street Brewing and Classic Chassis Car Club Austin LCCI are teaming to host a monthly Friday Night Cruise in Johnson City.

Owners and Car Clubs are invited to drive their classic, collector, antique or hotrod, car or truck to Pecan Street Brewing on the third Friday of each month, from 6-9pm. Pecan Street Brewing is located one block off Hwy 290/Main Street in Johnson City, across the street from the Historic Blanco County Court House.

Pecan Street Brewing is a Brew Pub and Restaurant, specializing in hand crafted beers, brick oven pizzas and great burgers. A beer garden and game room are in the plans (early stage right now) with live music on Friday and Saturday nights.

Classic Chassis Car Club Austin LCCI is a local chapter of an international car club with over 2,000 members worldwide and accepts members regardless of the make, condition or age of their vehicle.

Area businesses are sponsoring door prizes which will be distributed among drivers of classic, collector, antique or hotrod, cars or trucks, who arrive by 7pm. Chantilly Lace B&B, Copper Roof Art Studio, Pecan Street Brewing, Phillips Insurance Agency / Germania Insurance, Rice Construction Company, Silver K Café, Taste Wine+Art, and Rick Payton-Turnquist Partners Realty are sponsoring the event.

This cruise-in is open to the public, and free of charge, however visitors will want explore the galleries, shops and restaurants in Johnson City while they are here.
