Trinity Lutheran Church in Stonewall is extending an invitation to the public to join in their annual Rally Day and Barbecue celebration on Sunday, September 11.

Activities begin at 9:00am with Sunday School for children and adults as well. The childrens’ classrooms will be open and the new materials will be on display.

Worship is scheduled to begin at 10:10am. Traditional barbeque lunch with all the trimmings will be served beginning at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. The ladies of Trinity will provide homemade desserts. Trinity’s Happy Quilters are preparing and offering several wonderful items in a Silent Auction. A Free-Will donation for the lunch will benefit Trinity’s Building and Maintenance Fund and used to maintain our historical Sanctuary. Proceeds from the Happy Quilters Silent Auction will be used to fund capital improvements or capital acquisitions. Additionally, the Happy Quilters share in benevolence with many organizations within the Lutheran world and local agencies in Gillespie and Blanco Counties. Take-out meals will be available at the drive-through line beginning at 11:30am. A highlight of this annual event will be Door Prizes that have been donated by local area businesses and friends of Trinity.
