Ladies Fall in Tough Loss to Lago Vista

The Blanco Lady Panthers pounced on the Lago Vista Vikings Tuesday, August 30 to take an early 2-0 lead. However, the Vikings fought back to take the next 3 games in the best of 5 match. The final score was (25-20), (26-24), (14-25), (19-25) and (13-15). The Panthers demonstrated outstanding improvement over a previous loss to the Vikings, 0 to 3.

Reagan Rogers led the Panthers with ten kills. Lindsey Jenkins set 24 assists. Alex Gustafson made 28 digs and Abbey Weaver hit nine blocks.

The junior varsity also fought a close match falling 2 to 1. Game scores were (13-25), (25-23), and (21-25).

The freshmen won their match 2-0 with scores of (25-18) and (26-24).

The Lady Panthers next home matches will be against Johnson City on Tuesday, September 13. Come support your Lady Panthers!
