Blanco Volleyball Sweeps Eagles

The Lady Panthers defeated the Johnson City Eagles on Tuesday, September 13 winning all sets played by the teams. The Panther Freshmen won 25-21 and 25-21. The Junior Varsity score was 25-13 and 25-20. The Varsity completed the Blanco victories, 25-20, 25-12, and 25-16.

Abbey Weaver led the Panthers with eight kills and three blocks. Lindsey Jenkins set 22 assists and hit two aces. Alex Gustafson made nine digs.

The Panthers open District play this Friday against the Junction Lady Eagles at 4, 4, and 5. Come show your support for the volleyball team and then cheer for the football squad as they face the Sonora Broncos at 7:30!
