News from the Blanco Library
Wednesday, September 21, 2011 • Posted September 22, 2011

We are pleased to announce that the library will be reopening on Sundays starting September 25. Thanks to the additional funding granted by the city council, we are able to return to our normal business hours. A big thank you to all who supported us!

Also, remember to join us on October 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for our Author Day. Later that day, from 7 to 9 p.m., join us at the Johnson City Library for the International Observe the Moon Night. Come view the moon with telescopes, ask amateur astronomers about the moon, and moon activities for adults and children. To attend, go to the Johnson City Library at 501 Nugent Ave. in Johnson City.

For those eagerly waiting for e-books to become available, you will be able to access them in November. As always, remember to check our website at www.blancolib.org for more information and to take our survey. To find out what health and fitness classes we will be conducting in October, keep an eye out in this paper and on the web.
