The Comal County 9 Pin Ladies Trophy League Bowling Tournament (of which Blanco is an affiliate) was held Saturday and Sunday, September 10 and 11 at the Blanco Bowling Club. The 9 Pin clubs that participated were from Blanco, Mission Valley, Spring Branch, Freiheit, Fischer Store, Solms, Bulverde and Bracken. Each club brings three teams, for a total of 24 teams bowling. Each team bowls two games, and the best total score of the two days determines the winner. We are proud to announce the Blanco #1 team won the tournament. Capt. Rhonda Delavan, Dottie Delavan, Dorothy Ray, Alice Dowdy, Linda Dechert, and Gloria Preiss are the team members. Since Blanco won, the Tri-County tournament will be held in Blanco on October 2.
