7th Grade Loses Close Defensive Battle

The 7th grade Panther Football team fell to the San Antonio Christian Lions in a close defensive battle 0-8.

The 1st quarter score was tied zero all with each team unable to score against the other team’s defense. Then with 2:09 remaining in the half, San Antonio Christian scored a touchdown and the 2 point conversion.

Outstanding defensive plays were made by several Panthers. Kameron Martinez and Hayden Hunt each sacked the SAC quarterback.

Logan Parker, Kailen Webster, and Sebastian Thomas made solid tackles.

Garrett Seales led the Panthers at the quarterback position with Luis Elizondo, Parker, Martinez, and Thomas carrying the ball.

Joaquin Olmedo kicked off for the Panthers. The 7th and 8th grade teams play Sonora at Panther Stadium this Thursday, September 22 at 5:00 and 6:30
