Joint Chamber Ribbon Cutting at JC’s Pecan Street Brewing a Huge Success
Johnson City Chamber of Commerce
Wednesday, September 28, 2011 • Posted September 29, 2011

On Thursday afternoon, September 22, both the Johnson City and Blanco Chambers gathered together to celebrate the ribbon cutting of their newest member, Pecan Street Brewing. The event brought in folks from both communities including residents, chamber members, and chamber directors as well as representatives from both cities. Tim and Patty Elliott, owners, did the honors of cutting the ribbon and, for an extra treat, provided all attending with some of their fabulous brick oven pizza and fresh brewed beer. Sean Elliott, their master brewer, is doing an exceptional job of producing some of the best beer we have ever tasted.

Pecan Street Brewing is the vision of Tim and Patty Elliott, who purchased the building in 2008 with the dream of giving the Johnson City icon new life. It is located at 106 E. Pecan Drive in the old Blanco County Supply building, which was established in the early 1950s. Pecan Street Brewing is a place where you can meet and make friends while relaxing in a casual atmosphere, just like they did in the old days.

Congratulations Tim, Patty and Pecan Street Brewing as new members of the Johnson City and Blanco Chambers of Commerce!
