Lila Donia Bagby Brown was born September 3, 1927, to Frank and Amanda Wuest Bagby in Blanco, TX. She went to be with her Lord October 6, 2011.

Lila was preceded in death by both her mother and father and two grandsons, Jeremy Joe Brown and Denver Watkins. Lila is survived by her eight children; Jim Brown and wife Betty, Joe Brown and wife Cindy, Nancy Lanning and husband Starrett of Hanston, KS, Tom Brown of Goldsmith, TX, C.L. Brown and wife Tonya of Sonora, TX, Linda Haynes, Laura Seals and husband David of Kerrville, TX, and Mike Brown and wife Deanie of Liberty, TX. Lila is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Lila will be missed by all who loved her and her patient, kind, and loving ways. She was a homemaker, loving mother, great cook, and her apple pies were famous.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00am, Friday, October 7, 2011, at Blanco Cemetery, Blanco, TX.
