CattleWomen Elect Officers at Sept. Meeting

The Hill Country Cattle Women held their September meeting at the Farm Bureau Building, in Fredericksburg. In lieu of a guest speaker, members enjoyed visiting and catching up after their summer break. They also elected officers. Elected were: Nelda Sharringhausen, President; Dianne Staudt, 1st Vice-President; Deborah Wardlaw, 2nd Vice-President; Cindy Zenner, 3rd Vice-President; Clarice Stauble, 4th Vice-President; Peggy Matli, Recording Secretary; Mary Jane Morrison, Corresponding Secretary; Janis Stiefel and Vicki Miller, Co-Treasure.

The October 18 meeting will be hosted by the Kerrville area women, in Kerrville at The Rail, at The Depot, located at 615 Schreiner St. Cost of the meal is $16. Guest speaker Dan Hatfield will be speaking about the effects of the drought, real estate values, and Austin politics.
