The Order provides a home in Arlington as part of the Texas Masonic Retirement Center for Members in their twilight years. The Order also provides scholarships to deserving students in all phases of religious training as well as general scholarships. It is to be noted that these scholarships are not confined to members of the Eastern Star or their children. The Order is preeminent in its various charitable contributions and in community service. This is the largest fraternal organization in the world to which both men and women can belong.
