With our lovely rain recently, many folks have stopped by to find some good books to curl up at home with; come see if we have something for you. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came to see our authors on Saturday. Since we had Barbara Gourley, a children’s author, come to join us last minute, we want to give everyone a chance to properly meet her here on October 22 at 11 a.m. Mrs. Gourley will be reading her book, “The True Adventures of Tip: the Catahoula-Leopard Cowdog” so do not miss her!

We have a correction for our health series, “Everything You Wanted to Know about Exercise, but Were Afraid to Ask.” Instead of being on October 18 and 25, we will have them on October 18 and 19. Remember, we will have two sessions of every class; the first one is an introductory lecture with some examples of different types of exercises on October 18 from 9-10 a.m. and then again 6-7 p.m. The second class is actually trying out different ways to exercise on October 19 from 9-10 a.m. and again from 6-7 p.m.

As always, remember to check our website at www.blanco lib.org for more information.
