Blanco is in the official “Texas Hill Country Regional Christmas Lighting Trail” brochure this year. We are very excited to have accomplished this …let’s make a big splash of lights and decorations to encourage people to stop in Blanco instead of just passing through. The Lighting of Blanco will be November 25 through January 2.

The Christmas committee is encouraging all businesses and residents in Blanco to decorate for this tour of our town. You may decorate with any color of lights and Christmas decorations of your choice.

Opportunities are available for individuals or businesses to purchase cut-out scenes for the “Trail of Lights” in Bindseil Park. Deadline for ordering is October 20. If interested, please call Retta Martin at 830-833-4720.

We are encouraging all local businesses to remain open until at least 8:00pm on the dates below. We will keep you informed through the weekly Chamber email of any changes or additions on times of events scheduled.
