Dear Editor,

The federal government could learn a lot from the Blanco Independent School District (BISD). I was pleased to read that the BISD has again earned a superior financial integrity achievement rating from the Texas Education Agency.

I want to commend all of the BISD faculty and teachers who have worked to make that achievement possible. Your dedication to keeping the district in good financial standing while improving educational opportunities for BISD students is an excellent model for other school districts to follow.

There are few things more valuable to an individual than a good education and few things more valuable to a community than educated residents.

Congratulations on achieving this rating 10 years in a row and thank you for working to provide BISD students with a quality education.
