I was born in Dodge City, Kansas. I belonged to the Boot Hill Saddle Club and rode in horse shows almost every weekend. I graduated from Dodge City High School in 1958. I then married and had three children; Cindy, Sandy, and Dale.

I have lived in Oklahoma, Colorado, and Arkansas, then moved to Blanco in 2001. I love the Hill Country and the people are great.

I have only been in the Tejas Art Club a few months and this is my first attempt at painting.

I didn’t think I could learn to paint this late in life but thanks to a great teacher, Olga Iberra, it has been fun. We have a great bunch and lots of good fellowship.
